Renault Trafic with heater and automatic transmission or Similar
Traveling around Iceland? We invite you to travel the ‘Icelandic way.’ Did we hear you say, “huh?” That’s because you’ve probably never been to Iceland before and don’t know about our unique and fun holidaying style.
We are talking about campervans!
Kuku Campers’ campervans double as transportation and accommodation. You get to drive around, cook, make love, fight and make up, enjoy the country, sleep, read, listen to music, holiday, and do more in your own home on wheels.
The Renault Trafic is our BA camper van with automatic transmission. It fits three adults comfortably and comes fully equipped. You can camp in any one of the several camping sites. Once you set up camp, get out your camping table and stools (extras provided by us), kick back and relax the scenery or a book – or cook up a gourmet-worthy meal for the gang.
Get access to the cleanest toilets and inviting hot showers. Meet friendly people from all around the world and make friends for life. Travel the country at your own pace and in a care-free manner – without having to worry about making it back to your hotel at the end of every day.
Why choose Renault Trafic?
Its compact size makes it perfect for traversing varied terrain when traveling around the country. Its jazzed-up exteriors and interiors add color to the landscape. The interiors are super comfortable, as is the driving experience. The driver’s seat is spacious, plush, and has a variety of adjustments to suit your driving needs.
[Warning: Don’t get too comfortable, or you might just fall asleep in front of the wheel.] If you are a passenger – go ahead and enjoy the scenery as your pal does all the driving. When you book a Renault Trafic, you won’t end up feeling cramped or claustrophobic because the entire cab is roomy. You can even take some time off in your cozy nook if you want a break from your friends.
If you are a short driver, you will especially appreciate that the dashboard is not too high and gives you increased visibility of the road.
We Icelanders love music, and if you are like us, then you will love that the campervan comes fitted with an audio system that you can blast at full volume during your drives. We even make sure that your devices can be charged (we know how annoying it can be when you can’t charge your phone) with our USB charging port that is fitted in the van.
Heaters fitted in the campervans keep you warm and toasty through cold summer nights and colder winter nights. The heating system works on an external battery, meaning that for about 3 hours of driving, the battery is charged for about 8 hours of heating.
This Renault is economical because it means you can save a lot on expensive hotels and food. But it’s also economical because tight-fisted vacationers don’t have to spend much on fuel when driving this fuel-efficient diesel beauty.
This vehicle is the perfect threesome vehicle with a comfortable 200cm L x 160cm W mattress. It is also ideal for a small family or a couple looking for more space. The automatic transmission in the Renault is a good choice for lousy/lazy drivers. It is a smooth drive and works well on dirt, gravel, or paved roads. It also has on-road reliability.
While this camper doesn't come equipped with a shower or toilets, you shouldn't worry about it since wild camping in Iceland is forbidden, you will have access to showers, toilets in almost all campsites.
To help you know more about campsites, our staff created an amazing map that we keep updated often enough to allow our Kuku friends to make the most of their road trip by easily finding their night spot thanks to it.
